My Brother's Place in Mercer

Have been coming here for the last couple of years before shopping at Grove City Premium Outlets. Nice little 'mom and pop' diner located less than 5 minutes from the outlets. The relaxation you feel upon entering is what makes this place special. From the old fashion decor, to the wood seats and tables, to the polite staff and to the real wood burning fireplace that heats up the restaurant, this place offers an everlasting experience.The food is delicious. Tried my first Philly Cheese Steak here and am obsessed. Huge variety and great prices! The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel like you are apart of their family. Overall, My Brothers Place has always offered myself great food, service, and comfort. I will be coming here for years to come and highly recommend this restaurant for anyone stopping by the area, any local residence, or any Grove City shoppers passing through the area!

This place is great! Much better than my real brother's place :) The portions were huge, an appetizer would serve 2 people easily. I had the jalapeno burger cooked medium rare. Fantastic. My wife had the pasta with the 7 oz. Meatball. Very good food all around. Most of the menu is made in house. Prices are reasonable. It will definitely be a must stop any time I am any where near Grove city outlets.

Had a really great pulled pork sandwich on a seasoned roll with fries and cole slaw. And they've always got an interesting combination of beer to choose from.

You all need to try their Pittsburger. Better than another restaurant.

Local places with great wing selections. The batman sauce was amazing and the size of the wings was incredible. Prices where right on point with a normal night out for the wife, myself and the baby. Only complaint was how long it took to get a beer from the bar. All the waitresses where very friendly and sociable.

This place has my favorite "Pittsburgh" steak sandwich by far. They make their own bread which is unique and out of this world, and the coleslaw absolutely makes the sandwich. Great atmosphere, too!

The restaurant design interior. Food was very good priced about the same as every other restaurant in the area. Service was as expected.

It used to be a good and reasonable restaurant but... now it’s high priced and the quality has decreased. It will unfortunately no longer be my go to restaurant.

I used to go here frequently and decided to treat myself last night. I think last night will be my last time attending My Brother’s Place. I ordered a Miller Lite Draft and it took a very long time. I watched the bartender take other people’s orders that arrived after me. I finally got my drink and when I needed something else I tried to get the bartender’s attention but she stood in the corner near the computer on her personal cell phone and being very loud and disruptive. I tried to call today and the woman who answered was very disrespectful and I just hung up the phone, not worth my time. Will not be returning, absolutely terrible.

Been there since I was a kid. 40++ years. Great food at a fair price. Thurs is wing nite! Wow great deal.

Ordered appetizer -bread bits, cane smothered with cheese but cheese wasnt melted under top layer and there was so much butter in bottom of dish, we ordered sandwiches and fish but food was not good, greasy is the best way I can describe it. We wont be going back!

They have fabulous homemade food. Our waitress Heather was very friendly and helpful. Our dessert was also wonderful. I'd suggest My Brother's Place to everyone.

I really like the place service was fantastic, beyond from what I expected, bar is a little small considering that they get pretty busy most of the time.

Normally very good...waited over an hour for food..came out cold. Didnt get everything we ordered...asked for ketchup, took 14 minutes to get it.

Delicious food! Very friendly staff. Bathrooms are always clean.

Great portions, great price. Good variety of food. The pasta is made to order which may take a little longer to recieve your food but it is well worth it.

Everything about this place was terrible.1 It doesn’t have air conditioning. It was so hot inside, everyone was sweating. 2 I ordered a Bahama mama and it tasted like sunscreen. It came in a beer glass, the slice of orange was mainly peel, it came with a lemon for some reason instead of a cherry and it was mainly watery grenadine. 3The side salad had giant chunks of random vegetables and the lettuce was VERY dry. 4 The pasta was okay but the steak that came in it tasted like those little microwaveable beef things. And 5 our waitresses just disappeared. We waited so long to take our order and to receive the check. It wasn’t busy in there at all. I definitely won’t be back and I wish I could give 0 stars.

Was ok disappointed in the ayce fish too thin too much breading. Mac and cheese would have made a nice side to go with it too... But they didn't have. Was ok but I think there fish used to be better.

Nice local place, good service, food is always hot out of the kitchen. Wait time is minimal.

The special was not well received or accurately advertised. They did eventually honor the price. Food was good. They did find a way to make gravy fries even more of a cardiologists dream... Add cheese then bake..

Was there 11/16/19. Horrible bartender. Slow as all get out. Appetizer was messed up, Dinner was nasty, sent it back, was still charged for it. Won't be going back. Horrible experience all the way around.

Love the food and atmosphere

Food was great! Spinach tenderloin alfredo & cajun catfish with shrimp. A lot of seating areas; all look recently renovated-rustic & wood. Also has bar area.

First time at this place and first impression. Not the greatest. The hostess was short and just walked away and was not sure to follow her. After that things got better. Server was very nice, took our drink order then came back and ordered the French onion soup( wife like those and tries them everywhere). Says it was just good. For main course she had the Cheese Lasagna w/ Meatball on the side. The meatball was HUGE. Everything here is homemade everyday. But she say the Lasagna was good but lacking in flavor. I on the other hand had the Italian Wedding Melt ( I think that is what it was called.) And I thought it was great. Grilled bread with chicken and meatball with saute spinach, cheese and a sauce of some sort. We will be back.

Our party of 3 seated quickly in uncomfortable bench style seats. GIVEN menus and a clip board with specials. DRINKS quick. ORDERS , THAT WAS A PROB. One person ASKED if the sandwiches on toasted garlic roll could be replaced with a plain roll/bun. WAITRESS would not accommodate. KEEP saying that is special for type of sandwich. REQUESTED MANY TIMES. SHE would not even request to kitchen. SECOND, one person ordered from specials. WAITRESS returned and gave her a new special and indicated the hostess gave wrong special clip board. Our friend didn't like anything on new one NOR regular menu. WAITRESS DIDNT RETURN TIMELY. WE GOT UP AND DID LEAVE.

The waitress was absolutely rude, waited 45 minutes for out appetizer and then 3 minutes later received our dinner. The waitress didn’t even check up on us. The use to be a awesome place to go to but I will never recommend this place to anyone.

The first thing I want to say is every restaurant has its problems every restaurant manager owner we'll have a list of people who have complained and found something wrong with their establishment. If you go looking for a problem anywhere you'll find one. My brothers place is a friendly down home, everyday, good people looking for a good meal, at a reasonable price delivered by people who work hard and try their best. With that said I would like to say that my wife and I frequent this place often because of the pleasant atmosphere. I like my salad with real greens and not iceberg lettuce which has no nutritional value. I made my request known and as a regular they know it and I get a wonderful salad with greens that I appreciate. They have the world's best french fries and great specials. Their pterodactyl wings are not hot but sweet with a flavor that you would write home about. I would give them an honest try,and tell Mom Shelley and Pop Tim hello.

Excellent food. Their hand made potato chips are really good. Their signature burger with sauteed peppers, onions and mushrooms is delicious. Prices are reasonable.

Food and service was great. They had some love music which was a change up from other places. Definitely will be back if I'm in the area

Homemade Meatloaf is very good. Tried 3 of the Alfredo dishes and each had a unique flavor and delicious! Nice variety of foods on menu.

Great place to spend your evenings and just chill. The vibe is so positive plus food has large portion size. Their salad is highly recommended. Staff is super friendly.

I have ate there in the past and enjoyed it, however with so many other venues to choose from in the area I doubt we will be making a return visit anytime soon. The service was slow and not particularly friendly and the food was for the most part mediocre. The chicken wings were great--definitely the best part of the meal--however, we had ordered them as an appetizer and didn't receive them until we were already starting our entrees. Just a very disappointing experience.
